This account represents a new organ, identified by Sebastian M. Gluck, based on personal research. -- The building at 110-112 East 12th Street had a two manual and "two octaves of pedals," 24-stop Ferris that was dedicated in 1853 -- before Emanu-El bought the building in 1854.
