Jim Stettner on May 14th, 2020:
This entry represents a transplanted instrument, identified by the owner. -- In early 2014, I had asked Charles Kegg to keep his eyes open for a small practice organ for me. I was thinking of a Moller Artiste or a Holtkamp Martini. Charlie told me he thought Schlicker built nicer instruments of that type in the 1960's and would look out for one. Out of the blue, a church in Ohio not far from his shop called him for an appraisal of this instrument, which was in a Sunday school room or chapel. He assessed it for them, told them he had a client who was interested in buying it, and arranged the purchase for me. In the Kegg shop in 2015, the organ was releathered and its original relay and cable replaced with Z-tronic updates. No tonal changes were made. It was delivered to La Jolla in November 2015 and set up by Charlie Kegg.
