St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth MI purchased its first pipe organ from organ builder Fauser in Detroit, with a contract dated July 14, 1861. (Reference: St. Lorenz 50th Anniversary book 1895 pages 74-75, in German) .
