The independent 32' Subbass occupies the left-left chamber by itself; the Solo division is located in the right-right chamber. Deemed too dangerous to service, the 1999 en-Chamade was disconnected but allowed to remain in place since it was now part of the architecture of the room. It was replaced by a hooded Tuba placed in the former Antiphonal chamber above. The mosaic decoration, added in the early 1960's, contains over 700,000 pieces.
