Jim Stettner on July 8th, 2021:

Identified through online informtion from Jayson R. Engquist. -- The Vogelpohl was originally built for the first church building of 1890 which stood in the country outside Northrop (Rutland Township). In 1940, the congregation moved into town and moved the Vogelpohl to their new building. Fire destroyed this building, including the organ, as a result of a lightening strike in 2016. A new building was contructed on the site.
