Updated through online information from Andrew Henderson (August 28, 2025): From the Welland Telegraph (June 15, 1888): "The organ recital in St. Paul's Church on Thursday evening of last week, was a grand success. The attendance was very large, filling the church. Mr. Carter, organist of St. Paul's Cathedral, of Buffalo, tested the tone and capacity of the new instrument in accompaniments to the many selections of our St. Paul's Church choir, assisted by Mrs. McCredle and Mrs. Fredericks. We believe that all are pleased with the new organ."

Updated through online information from Andrew Henderson (August 28, 2025): From the Welland Telegraph (May 25, 1888): "The new organ for St. Paul's Church arrived on Tuesday of last week, and is being placed as rapidly as circumstances will permit. It is from the Warren establishment, of Toronto."

Andrew Henderson on January 16th, 2022:
From *The First 150 Years of St. Paul's Anglican Church* (1971): "The first organ in the new building was purchased from Warren and Son in Toronto for the sum of $1500 and placed in the gallery of the church. This was one of many organs to see service in St. Paul's down through the years, including one with solid silver [sic] pipes that was brought from the Cathedral in Buffalo for use at one time in our present church." The Warren organ was presumably destroyed when the church was leveled by an explosion and fire on March 1, 1892. The church was rebuilt the following year, and "other than locating the organ in the chancel rather than in the gallery, the new building was constructed and furnished in almost identical fashion to the old, and is the one in which we worship today."
