Andrew Henderson on December 21st, 2022:

The opening recital on the instrument was given on September 22, 1909, featuring organist Mr. Frederick C. Thomas, FAGO, LRAM, ARCO, Mr. James McQuinn - the parish organist, and the church choir. (The Brantford Weekly Expositor, September 23, 1909)

Andrew Henderson on December 21st, 2022:

The organ was the gift of a friend of the parish from Pittsburgh, PA, and was reported to cost approximately $7,000. The organ was to be equipped with a 2 hp blower by Orgoblo of Hartford and was to have tubular pneumatic action. "This will be the first organ in Brantford to have a set of beautiful 'tubular' chimes. Mr. W. N. Andrews, musical director of the Conservatory of Music, drew out the specifications for this magnificent instrument ..." (The Brantford Daily Expositor, July 23, 1908)
