Andrew Henderson on January 7th, 2024:
This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (January 6, 2024): From The Angola Record (January 6, 1887): "A handsome new pipe organ has been placed in St. Matthias Church. It has 22 speaking pipes and large ornamental metal pipes 20 feet long in front, 8 stops, 1 manual, balance swell, double action bellows, 15 [sic] feet sub-base (bourdon pipe) and has between 500-600 pipes in all. It was built by the veteran builder, Garrett House, who has been in the business in Buffalo for 50 years. The cost was $800."
