From The Kingston Whig-Standard (March 9, 1936): "The organ which has been giving service in Chalmers United Church for the past forty-five years has been sold to St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Gananoque, it was announced today. The work of dismantling the organ will start this week and the organ will be installed at St. John's Church at Gananoque. It was recalled today that the original organ in the old Chalmers Church was sold to St. Andrew's Church at Gananoque. Chalmers Church has just recently installed an electric organ."
