The date should be corrected to 1874. The instrument had 2 manuals and was given by W. L. Manning at a cost of $2,500, as reported in The Palladium (Malone, NY, August 13, 1874). Information received online from Andrew Henderson on 2025-02-26

This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (February 15, 2025): Installed at a cost of $2,000. Referenced in correspondence with the Carnegie Corporation. It is unknown if pipework from this organ was included in a new instrument in 1917. Date of installation reported also as 1874.
