This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Nathan Bienz [December 6, 2025]: "Eine wohlgelungene Orgel—von Herr Gieseke für $2000.00 erbaut—fehlt ebenfalls nicht." (A well-made organ, built by Mr. Gieseke (sic) for $2,000, is also present.) Source: J. F. Niethammer, "Michigan City," Der Lutheraner 33, no. 5 (March 1, 1877), p. 38, col. 1.
