Steven Bartley on January 7th, 2026:

This entry repesents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Steven Bartley [January 7, 2026]: from - Baltimore Sun Aug. 13, 1859, pg. 1: 12 stops, 14 ft. tall 7-1/2 ft. wide x 6 ft. deep, case made of black walnut of Ionic style and heavily molded and corniced. The volume sounds very full.

History from St. John's web site says church burned in 1868. Possibly the Pomplitz organ was destroyed in that fire.
