This instrument was one of several phases of the organ built around the Opus 1255 Style E at the Fargo Theatre. This phase used the console (and possibly a few ranks of pipes) from Wurlitzer Opus 2127, a church Wurlitzer purchased from First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD, but mostly it consisted of the 7 original Style E Opus 1255 ranks, and others procured by Lance Johnson. This console was used from 1979-1998, and the theatre was closed for the better part of a year, after which a new console and expansion to 21 ranks took place in early 1999. The organ was originally 9 ranks when this console was added but the original intent was 15 ranks, completed in 1986.
