Database Manager on May 01, 2015:

Loew's Valencia Theatre occupied the former upstairs ballroom of Loew's Century Theatre. The 1400-seat Loew's Century opened on May 7, 1921, and the ballroom opened on October 29, 1921.
In 1926, the ballroom was converted by John Eberson into another movie theatre, the Loew-s Valencia Theatre, designed in an Atmospheric style.
Loew-s Valencia closed in 1955, and Loew's Century closed on January 8, 1961. In the summer of 1962 the building was razed to make way for the Charles Center, an office complex.
