Pheonix organs (https://phoenixorgans.com/installations/installation-archives/196) has indicated that this instrument was in need of major repairs, and that they installed one of their electronic instruments with speakers in the pipe chambers. This casts doubt as to whether the instrument is still playable, though it is still probably at least partially extant.
This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Ian Mason, using information found in: Taggart, Mabel. Simpson Avenue United Church, Toronto, Commemorating the Fiftieth Anniversary, 1889-1939 [1939].
This church, the former Simpson Avenue United Church, closed. The building has been home to Metropolitan Community Church since 1991.
