The organ was rebuilt in 1940 by Roy Staples and again in 1953 by Staples and A. Dwight Peck, the area Austin rep; a new Austin console was added at that time. The building with its 700-seat sanctuary was sold in September 1994 to Clark Atlanta University for use as the home for its Art and Music Departments; it eventually was named the Park Street Music and Art Complex.
The organ was rebuilt in 1940 by Roy Staples and again in 1953 by Staples and A. Dwight Peck, the area Austin rep; a new Austin console was added at that time. The building with its 700-seat sanctuary was sold in September 1994 to Clark Atlanta University for use as the home for its Art and Music Departments; it eventually was named the Park Street Music and Art Complex.
