This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.<br>

The original building is extant and serves the Mount Pleasant Pentecostal congregation.<br>Based on the newspaper articles the church hired John Parker, from Church of the Advent, Boston, to become choir director and form a surpliced choir of 20 voices. The building is not large. The organ contained 13 stops, two man 58 note/27 pedals, octave coupler, Swell. The previous organ was in the gallery, and the new organ/choir placed right of the chancel. The woodwork of the case was light wood, cost $1300. <br>Photos found in the above listed web page show a very elaborate "high church" interior. Facebook photos, of the present interior shows the church has been stripped of all its original decorations, and the chancel has been redesigned. No organ is seen.
